Her uplifting posts show she's truly happy with the things she's doing today... designing and living life to the fullest. Hard work can get you anywhere, oh and if ya need some inspiration? She's giving away a fantastic ukulele, so I advise you to go check it out! Talk to y'all soon.... xo

Welcome to my continued pursuit of stealthness with a ladel in the kitchen, sewing machine in the bedroom and shovel in the garden.

Greetings, earthlings!
I enjoy writing (err, blogging) very much so, although normally it's in journal-form where I can avoid others potentially knowing my everyday thoughts and feelings.
It's time for a change.
I have decided to post about my adventures with sewing, cooking and gardening. One would assume that these aforementioned skills are second nature to women, but alas my friends, that is a big, stinkin' lie that I have sadly believed since I was little. I assumed these treasured trades would magically stream out of my fingertips once I was an "adult" and much "older", which regrettably enough, is right now. At the ripe age of twenty-three, I know I can't scribble down these abilities onto my list of talents, which is why I'm taking action.
I love to cook, however I am not what you would call a professional... or even a novice. I am great at scrambling eggs yet don't know the correct way to boil an egg. I have plans to create a vegetable garden yet lack any knowledge of how to begin; this may also be a problem. My mother is great at sewing and I envy her evenly-spaced seams and rapid hemming that sounds like a machine-gun fire. It's my goal to become good, no, GREAT at these three things.
Here we go.
